A behind the scenes shot at the E! News Now set. If you look very closely you can see that I stand on an apple box in order to reach our plasma evenly. I've also throw on my slippers at this point. I can only hang rocking heels until about noon. My call time is 6am so cut me a little slack. ;)
The live show allows people to pop into our studio weekdays at 9:30am PT to see what stories everyone is buzzing about and working on that day. It even gives fans a chance to join the conversation by tweeting in their thoughts and opinions using #LiveFromE!
Doing a live show has got to be the closest thing I know to doing theater. There's this sense of calm before the "Three. Two. One. Go!" The calm comes from the love you have for what you do and the work you've put in beforehand.
There is also a surge of adrenaline because you also know that ANYTHING could happen. (Oh, and it has!) That's what makes live shows so much fun. The idea that yes, anything could and most likely will happen. Kinda like life.
